Something changed when I turned fifty. I stopped wanting more things and started wanting more time. Time with my kids. Time to travel down roads I’ve never taken. Time to sit with a good friend and talk about absolutely nothing important. I used to think success was about how much I could accomplish. Now I think it might have more to do with how much of my life I actually notice. I discovered this site while looking for something meaningful to listen to during my morning walks. Wasn’t planning on having deep thoughts before breakfast but apparently that’s what we’re doing today 😂
I love the peaceful feeling of this place. It’s nice finding somewhere online that isn’t trying to get you angry or worked up about something. Just thoughts worth sitting with.
I’m still figuring out what I believe spiritually, and I don’t feel the need to rush that process. Connected by Creation gave me some meaningful ideas to explore without feeling like I had to arrive at a conclusion right away.
I listened while driving home after a stressful day at work. Normally I spend that drive replaying every problem in my head. This time I found myself noticing the sunset and feeling thankful just to…
I sent one of the reflections to my mom. She called me later and we talked for an hour. So I guess that’s one way a little inspiration can turn into something real.
