Fresh air fixes my attitude more often than I’d like to admit.

I lost my sister when I was younger. Sometimes I’ll hear a song she loved or see something funny that I know would have made her laugh. For a moment, it’s like she’s right there. I don’t claim to understand what happens to us after we die, but I do know the ways we affect one another continue…

I spent most of my adult life avoiding spiritual topics because I thought they were all about having to believe certain things. Recently, I’ve started realizing that exploring spirituality can also mean being curious about existence itself. What gives life meaning? Why do certain moments affect us so deeply? Why does being in nature change how we feel? I don’t know the answers. But I enjoy having a place to think about them. What I like about Connected by Creation is that it gives me room to reflect on these questions without feeling like I need to reach the same conclusions as everyone else.

I had a rough morning and was searching for something uplifting to read. I didn’t expect anything profound, but the idea that I belong to something larger than my own problems really helped me settle down.
